TAFM has a 3 members Board of Directors chaired by M. Didier Lachize, Mrs Le Thanh Van and Mr Bernard Oppetit representing Centaurus Capital Ltd. Centaurus is the largest single shareholder of TAFM.
Bernard Oppetit (French, born 1956) is the Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Centaurus Capital Limited (London, U.K.).
Prior to leaving in August 2000, Mr. Oppetit was, from 1995, Global Head of Equity Derivatives at Paribas in London until the Paribas merger with Banque National de Paris in May 2000 following which he was Head of Risk Arbitrage at BNP Paribas in London. He joined Paribas in Paris in 1979 and in 1987 transferred to New York as a risk arbitrage trader before becoming Global Head of Risk Arbitrage in 1990. Mr. Oppetit is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris.
Since November 2009, Mr Oppetit is also a member of the board of directors of NATIXIS, an investment bank listed on Paris Stock Exchange.
Didier Lachize (French, born 1954) is the Chairman of Tigers Alliance Capital. He also chairs and is CEO of Seagulls Investment and Development Group of Companies, a diversified holding company.
Mr Lachize has an Agronomy Engineering Degree from France and has been a soft commodities trader from 1983 to 1990, with a strong focus on contracts with emerging Asian corporate and Government’s agencies, and has accumulated considerable on-field traveling and trading in Vietnam as early as 1983.
After 2 years spent as investment advisor and new venture team leader for a major Oil Exploration company targeting exploration rights in former Indochina, Mr Lachize established his own business in Vietnam together with Mrs Le Thanh Van. Several companies has been set from 1993 all of them being successful and profitable and were incorporated under Seagulls Group in 2007.
Mrs Le Thanh Van (Vietnamese , born 1959) is the co-founder of Seagulls Investment Group, and is the CEO of its 3 main operating divisions. Graduated from Hanoi Foreign Trade University, and after various positions as a commodities trader for Government import/export agencies, Mrs Thanh Van has been managing the group of companies since 1993 that now belong to the Top 300 private companies of Viet Nam, as per the Ministry of Finances records.
